Maternity Leave!

Hello world! Things have been quiet around The Family Doc—this year has definitely brought the unexpected!

—> I spent the first quarter of 2020 covering a colleague’s maternity leave.

—> I’m spending the second quarter of 2020 as a full-time mom to my school-age children while schools are closed.

—> I will spend the upcoming third quarter of 2020 on my own maternity leave—baby is due right at the beginning of summer.

So unexpected, each season with its own challenges and joys. I look forward to getting myself back into the work groove, which I am hoping will happen later this year. We are all playing a lot by ear these days as public health recommendations slowly evolve. Thanks for rolling with the proverbial punches with me, and I will see you in a few months!
